We are seeking a confident, results-driven Collections Specialist to join our Finance team. You will manage the recovery of outstanding balances, build constructive payment arrangements with customers, and maintain meticulous records of all collection activity—helping to strengthen the company's cash position while preserving valued customer relationships.

• Contact customers to recover outstanding balances and negotiate sustainable payment arrangements.
• Monitor accounts daily to identify overdue invoices and prioritize collection activity by risk and exposure.
• Communicate with customers by phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve payment issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, payment commitments, and customer interactions.
• Liaise with internal teams, the legal department, and external collection agencies as escalations require.
• Prepare and distribute collection-status reports and contribute to forecasts of expected recoveries.
• Recommend account write-offs or further legal action where collection efforts have been exhausted.
• Ensure all collection activity complies with applicable consumer-protection laws, internal policies, and industry best practice.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
• Proficiency in accounting and ERP platforms (ideally SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage).
• Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago.
• Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.

• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a track record of working to clearly defined targets.
• Articulate, professional verbal and written communication.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
