We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Staff Accountant / General Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations—including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance—while building broad exposure across the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional ready to deepen their accounting expertise.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain an accurate general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to defined timelines.
• Maintain fixed-asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide supporting documentation during audits.
• Support tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process-improvement and automation initiatives within the Finance function.
• Keep management informed of financial developments and emerging risks relevant to the company's reporting.
• Maintain accurate, well-organized financial records and documentation.

• ACCA Level 3, or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is an asset.
• Familiarity with IFRS or local accounting standards.
• Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago.
• Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
